Participation at the 2nd International Congress on Construction and Demolition Waste Recycling (C&DW)

In November, Zaragoza hosted the 2nd International Congress on Construction and Demolition Waste Recycling (C&DW), a key event for construction and demolition waste management.

During the congress, Sergio López, from Cocircular, presented the DeCo2 project. The session, part of the topics on RCD management applications and digital technology, attracted construction industry companies from both Spain and abroad.

Additionally, other projects on similar themes were presented, including RCD symbiosis with the cement and concrete industry by UPC, the Waste LIFE Cycle project under the LIFE program, and the REDOL (Horizon funding) project for automated RCD classification, presented by CIRCE; Garnocex, Reconmatic (UK Horizon Europe), and ROTATE (EU Funding), all showcasing innovative projects to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills.
