On 26 September 2026, the 3rd Eco-Breakfast took place at the Terrassenhaussiedlung (THS) in Graz. The event was held in cooperation with the „Tag der offenen Wohnprojekte“, bringing residents and visitors together. Forty-seven residents joined the event, which was organised by the Core Team of the THS. The Core Team prepared a breakfast buffet and put together a diverse programme with a variety of activities for the residents.

One of the highlights was the presentation of Terrassenhaussiedlung‘s Housing Handbook by Roland Wiesinger. The handbook was developed to support residents in their everyday lives and includes practical information on various aspects of decarbonisation, including heating, ventilation systems and water fixtures, as well as important emergency contact details. Copies were made available for residents to take home. Another focus was on ongoing work on the PV panels. Residents received an update on their current status and had the opportunity to look at the sample panels and the BIM model.

The programme also offered several opportunities to discover and discuss the Terrassenhaussiedlung from different perspectives. Lotte Schreiber’s film „Der Stoff aus dem Träume sind“, which explores among other cohousing projects also the Terrassenhaussiedlung, was screened during the event. The newly established Re-Use Room was also opened and presented to interested visitors. This room allows items such as dishes and small furniture to be passed on free of charge within the housing estate. In addition, residents had the opportunity to connect with each other and sign up for interviews as part of the project. The event ended with a guided tour of the Terrassenhaussiedlung led by Andrea Jany, giving participants the chance to learn more about the building and its history.

The 3rd Eco-Breakfast once again brought residents together in a welcoming and informal setting. It provided an opportunity to learn more about the project, exchange ideas, share experiences, and connect with neighbors.
