On 27 May,2026, Dr. Gloria Calleja-Rodríguez from CEMOSA presented the experience of the DECO2 project at the ECTP Conference, within the session “From Data to Decarbonization: Turning Digital Intelligence into Climate Performance.”

The presentation, titled “Harmonization of Data-Driven Solutions for Building Decarbonization Management,” highlighted how integrated digital approaches can significantly enhance decision-making and accelerate building decarbonisation.

Gloria explained how DECO2 uses digital twins to support decarbonization management, enabling the simulation of renovation scenarios, the assessment of environmental and economic impacts, and the identification of optimal strategies. She also showcased how the project addresses fragmentation across tools, data, and stakeholders by harmonising key technologies such as digital twins, Digital Product Passports (DPPs), and circularity tools, ensuring seamless data flows from materials to buildings and throughout all project phases.

The presentation ends with a clear message: achieving climate-neutral buildings is no longer limited by technological availability, but by the ability to integrate solutions effectively. In this context, DECO2 demonstrates a concrete pathway towards more scalable, efficient, and impactful decarbonisation
